Oh, bras. I believe that most women have a love/hate relationship with them. Personally, when I wear the right bra, I not only feel confident AF but also beautiful. On the flip side, when I wear an ill-fitted bra, I feel uncomfortable, squeamish, and downright unsexy. To add to this, I wear a 42D-42DD. So, the bra I wear must hold and expand past the US standard.
For curvy women like myself, finding the right bra can be as difficult as finding water in the desert.
It’s not that our bodies can’t be measured, it’s that many bras aren’t designed to flatter our curves. For example, most brands only carry bras with a band size up to 38. So, if you are like me and have a band size in the 40s, you basically have to squeeze yourself into the bra or purchase bra expanders.
Thankfully, times are changing. Not only are clothes becoming more inclusive, but bras are as well. Hopefully, the days of bleeding bra lines and manufactured back rolls are something in the past. Anyways, here are 4 of my favorite brands that carry bras for large busts.
